'Cornflower' is the first in a new series focusing on wildflowers. Several different embroidery techniques are used including surface embroidery, stumpwork, raised work, needlelace, needleweaving and goldwork. Stranded cottons in a range of greens and silk floss in blues and purple are used in a variety of surface stitches on the pale pink background. Unusual silk wrapped purl threads are also included.
This kit is suitable for someone with some embroidery experience.
The kit comes tidily packaged in a neat little box, with all fabrics, threads and needles, clear to follow instructions and photographs, a stitch guide to show you how to work each stitch and a diagram.
If just purchasing the Instructions & Diagram, these will be sent to you via email and will comprise comprehensive instructions with images, stitch guide, diagram with key and full sized design. Choose No for Mellor to enable Instructions & Diagram choice. Please select Instructions Only at checkout for free 'delivery' by email.
The finished embroidery measures 15.5cm high by 15.5cm wide.
